Japan is beautiful especially during Christmas time. Lots of things to do and sights to enjoy. Best to join a tour especially if you have kids in tow 🙂

JR Tickets can be purchased before Japan trip at the Tanjong Pagar station JR cafe & ticketing counter. The station is on street level above the Tanjong Pagar MRT

Tickets are valid for 3 months & you can activate fr the main stations in Japan. Best activate at the airport. You can indicate 1st day travel to begin any day, not necessarily on day of arrival. Once you begin using, it will count fr that day for the duration of ticket u've purchased. There are 7, 14 & 21 days tickets available.

Universal Studio & Disneyland tickets can be purchased prior to trip to save time fr queuing. They've good discounts now.

Yes. They're having special discounts. For USP, they call it the Halloween Special open-dated pass. Passes are valid for 12 months tho the purchase period is till 8 Oct.

Sanrio Pass are sold there too, besides Disneyland/DisneySea.

In fact, we consulted with the counter staff to refine our itinerary.

They’re all very experienced travelers & can advise you quite sufficiently whether it’s more convenient to travel to attractions & gave very good advice regarding activation of JR Pass to maximize our activities & sightseeing based on our duration of stay & kick-off point.

In Hokkaido, it’s better to drive & apply for your ToCoo Int’l driving permit. Pls apply a month ahead in case there’re other issues u need to iron out before flying off

You can order SIM card fr Qoo delivered in Spore by mail.

We buy Sanrio, USP, Disney passes to avoid long queues purchasing tickets, but queues for rides may still be nec even on some weekdays.
