St Hilda's Kindergarten

Does St Hilda Kindergarten provide fortnightly lessons update (parents’ update Letter) to parents (either thru email, notes, etc.) ??? Some good kindergarten that encourage parents to reinforce the lessons taught in school provide this kind of update letter, which is very good.
Also, any idea why St Hilda’s kindergarten is not in the SPARK accredited list of preschools? Thanks. -
Hi Parents
Can share more about the N1 orientation?
Thanks -
from what i can recall - The programme goes like - national anthem followed by prayer led by a board member or pastor. The principal then introduces the school, their vision, mission, etc. There was a year when they invited some alumni to speak as well but I’m not sure if they do that every year. The principal then introduces the teachers and gives some tips on how parents can partner with the teachers to help their children adjust to their new environment, the daily homework, etc.

Hi
Can we buy the uniforms on that day? Normally, how many sets do parents buy?
How about school bus arrangements? -
Yes after the session in the hall, you can bring your kid to his classroom to acclimatise him and you buy school uniforms. 2 sets of both should be safe enough.

Is there a difference between afternoon and morning session? Would teachers be more tired teaching in the afternoon, I went down to see St Hilda’s. They feel academically rigorous but is it too much for the kids to absorb?

Hi parents
We have 3 sets brand new boy’s uniforms (S size) and PE attires (XS size) to let go. Bought extra on the orientation day.
Please pm me if you are keen -
Hi, any review on this kindergarden? I’m planing to enrol my boy (K1) next year. Will go and visit ST Hilda’s Kindy and Bethesda (Katong) Kindy. any review on Bethesda as well?
Thanks -
Had a unique opportunity to try both kindy. They both have their own strengths but hands down, SHK is more rigorous in terms of academic work. However, Bethesda (Katong) along Frankel Ave seems to be better managed overall. Again, this comparison is based on our experience at that certain period in time when SHK was going through a rough patch. The food is better in Bethesda and it is SPARK accredited too. My kid liked SHK better though.
