It is a minor overlook. More important is to stick to the topic given.

          It's fine. They don't penalise.

What about the question with ‘grasp’? Is it grasp of or grasp on? (Skills)

Grasp of a Japanese language (skill)
            Grasp on a chair (object)

As per seab.gov.sg, the last sentence of the continuous writing, candidates can also come up with their own interpretation of the topic. If I read this correctly, it doesn't matter if the picture is not followed exactly the same; boy wrote as girl or man/ old man.

Suggest not to discuss the questions with your DC anymore. I regretted bringing up the questions with my DS just now. My sis who is a teacher advised me to ask my DS generally if the paper is ok or not ok, and get him to move on to the next paper. Once you get into specific questions, the child could get into a worrying mode, and may lose hope in other papers.
