Heard from DD that her classmate onky wrote 2 pages for CW. She did the picture on the mug at first but halfway thorugh the compo, she found it illogical and tore out the paper from the booklet, crushed it and put it under the table. Invigilator saw it and staples them back asking her to cancel everything and rewrite on the next few pages. In the end, she only wrote 2 pages on the 1st picture. Poor thing. Worst thing is that she is one of the class' star compo writers. Probably got writer's block

Poor thing. I am also very scared of this kind of mental block / panic attack happening to my DD during PSLE. She had panick attack during her prelims, affected one of her papers.

For “A special gift”, DD1 wrote about receiving the last gift from her brother before he passed on. Also about some good values he left behind.

A well-developed story may need more than 4 pages. 5 to 7 pages should be a good gauge, me thinks.

Did your dd/ds tick proud and relieved for one of their comprehension questions?

I think the last question went something like this,

What was Rina referring to when she said 'well done'? Why do you think so?

Im not sure about the answer though...

There was a comprehension cloze about toothbrushes, there was a blank and you needed to fill it in with an appropriate word.i think the sentence went something like this,

It would be great if you could ____ the tip.

My dd’s friend put ‘use’ instead of follow, do you think its still correct though? There are many possible answers.
