        follow

        The answer is \"follow\".

One tip that you might want to FOLLOW for tackling future qns for open cloze is...

Work it backwards, render the blank as an adjective to describe the noun (tip).

        -example, you would say
        Easy-to-Follow Tips.

You won't say easy-to-do Tips :lightrod:

So yeah, Follow is the most suitable answer here.

I'm a student who is taking PSLE this year, I asked my English Teacher who is the HOD in English and my sister who is a teacher majoring in English. They said the answer is use, however hopefully both follow and use will be accepted so it's a win-win situation 😄

You may have heard of the phrase, more common in US english, though...

I could use some help, or
                  I could use some tip...

                  It is acceptable in speech.
The verb to be filled in here will depend on what is the context, the way it is used in the passage.

Were there specific suggestions mentioned in the passage that could be taken up? That would refer to tips being followed, adhered to.

Ultimately, there will be some acceptable answers. NOW, you can also ask the same Hod or teacher about the choice of the word Follow.

Then, come back and share with us here. 😄 😄

Routine would be the ideal choice

If that word proves to be a challenge to spell, try manner.
