Hi All,

Did any parents us the BASC near Radin Mas? I know there are 2 where it is Cherie Hearts & SASCO. Called Cherie Hearts yesterday where during 1/2 way the staff just yelled at the students to keep quiet. Really does not give me a good impression. Maybe the phone is located too near the student holding area?

        Hi all,

Anyone receive the results for Maths Review? I got mine on Thursday and my dd lost 2 marks cos she spelled 'third' as '3rd' 😞

Both me & hub don't intend to bring her to work next week, too short a notice and though i work part time, i don't want to end up keeping an eye on her while i work.....she is so chatty, curious and active, i guess i'll have to explain everything from a to z what and why i do my work that way....haha

Will try to work out something during the June hols, but have no idea cos hubs also quite reluctant to bring her to his office. Hmm, I have a friend who owns an infant cum child care centre, maybe I'll take 1 day leave and accompany her there to help take care of the toddlers, and the working environment also children friendly, she can eat & play there.

        Hope my friend agrees 🙏

          Hi All,

Notice that 26th May where tje kid don't have to attend school but stay at home to do online homework. Wonder how much the school would blast how many assignments for the student to complete.

Must the assignments need to be completed by 2359hr on the 26th May 10? maybe really have to take time off from work to supervise them doing the assignments. BTW, are these marks counted as a form of unit review?

In additon, 27th May is \"Eat With Your Family Day\". Does that day a school holiday?

They should be able to complete the work within 4 hrs ? Since children without computers are allowed to use the PCs at CDAC, and the opening hours are from 1pm to 5pm. Not sure if this's part of the unit review, will check with her FT.
In additon, 27th May is \"Eat With Your Family Day\". Does that day a school holiday?
:? me too, the weekly newsletter didn't mention. Guess got to 'bug' her FT again, i hope she doesn't find me a nuisance.

17 May - Learning Journey to the Zoo, two excursions within a month? and the weather now is super hot, being kaisu, i’ll probably give extra $ to my dd to buy more drinks as i don’t think 1 bottle of water will be enough.

I think they left out one important item to bring on the list: insect repellent spray. My dd had 3 big mosquitos’ bites last week after school and the swell didn’t subside until the 3rd day.

Since it is so hot, I wonder if the kids get to take the tram - cannot imagine making the kids walk throughout the afternoon. :!:

I wonder if the school will allow them to play at the \"Rainforest kidzworld\". :? All kids like to go for the wet play area....

                  Hi!

Anybody brought your child to the office yesterday? Care to share on your experience?

My boy went to my office for half a day. He was bored at first, until he found the white board. Then, started to write things on the white board, and didn't want to go home. 😉 Made a few uncle and auntie friends, too. 😉

He was given some sheets of paper to write his experience on the attachment. Wonder what he is going to write.... 😐

hi, I brought my son to office yesterday for half a day too! He has so many questions to ask.

To stop him, I gave him "physical work", like shredding, stapling etc… to keep him occupied. I think half a day is already stretching too long, 1 day really cannot tahan.

It'll be mine (or rather hubs) turn tomorrow to bring DD to work. Actually she goes to his office quite often but this time, she'll be going there with a mission.... . I think she's quite excited.

By the way, if another kid in class hides your child's book under his table and when he was found out, removes the plastic cover, throws it on the floor and make your child pick it up, will you consider this as bullying?

Yes brought DS to office where experience some engineering, machinery & a few live action in the working place. Let DS understand that working life is not easy & DD must study hard so that can find a good job & landed with a good company in the future.

Also at the same time take some pictures so that DS can complete the assignment. Just ½ a day I’m already tired like a dead dog as need to supervise closely.
