Any advice how your DC will choose to attempt 命題 or 看图 for Paper 1?

IMO, 命题作文 can let you score high marks if your child is really proficient in the language, 造句 is flawless and know many of 好词好句， 成语， etc. Otherwise it is safer to stick to 看图作文 and not stray away from the theme.

Example, the teacher 勉励 the students to study harder.
鼓励，to cheer on others to develop confidence and thus ,improve.
