daughter just resumed english tuition...so that should keep her brain from regressing. i am also planning to get her to revise her science topics and finish up some math end of year papers.

DS inherited DD’s books so he has started leisure reading of them already.

Reminding him every day to work on the leftover sec 2 English assessment books as well.

No homework from school. He is free so long as he does 4 hours of work every day.

It's not a lot. He still has a lot of time to play games, watch TV, listen to songs, go out and idle.

The brain goes through another growth spurt during the adolescence years, important to keep him gainfully productive to not waste this window of opportunity to re-model it.

 possible? Can you point me to some reading materials on this? I would love to remodel ds1 all over and make him good as gold. :rubhands: .

i set work for my daughter to do…i think that should take about 2 hours for science since the topics tend to be long…all 3 sciences need intensive revision. different topics and there is math as well as history and geography.

Broadly, the key words to search are neuroplasticity, adolescence brain development, brain training, etc.
