Agree. During SARS period and year 2009. Friend told me she went to see this unit in Yr2009, the owner wanted to let go soooo cheaply until she scared (less 50%). Now she regretted she didn’t buy.
if i m not wrong around Mar2009(?) when the share mkt 'crashes' around that time i remember seeing unit sold at around 1.2k psf from the high 2.4k psf less than a yr ago. The last last time was SARS? somehow have the feeling most wont be so jittery as before as it will go back to reasonable normal price in no time.limlim:
Were there property crash before?
What kind of level then is considered a crash?

During downturn, there's also fear of losing your job, especially for the middle aged...so even if very cheap but without rental or job...damn terok!

Yes... I have advised a friend not to commit to an ec. Why take the risk when he has a fully paid hdb?

The general sentiment is prices have bottomed out.
People really don’t mind paying ABSD because they think property prices have bottomed out? 7% is a lot.
[/quote]Yup..think the cooling measure will remain.
