I use a broom and dustpan
i use vacuum cleaner as the dust flies when i use a broom.
but the irritating thing is retracting the cable.

I use a vacuum cleaner for the same reason. Retracting the cable should be quite easy - just press the button? My main irritation about the vacuum cleaner is the noise; my other one was having to plug and unplug it as I moved around, but my husband solved that by getting me a very long extension cable so I can vacuum the entire flat from the same socket!

hubby has a central extension plug so that i don't have to plug and unplug.
as the vacuum cleaner gets old, it's harder to retract. i'm used to the noise but not hubby. so i have to vacuum in the morning when they are off to school and work. my vacuum cleaner doesn't use a bag but the dust/hair goes into the plastic container which i will clear every week.

If it is such a cost issue, I think it can be managed. Maybe, one should think of a less lavish lifestyle. But I think the primary issue is whether we have the time and energy to have another kid. Because it really takes up one’s time and energy. Especially now when mothers are more educated and go to work, they barely have time for the kids. I can understand how tiring it is for one to tend to kids after one hard day’'s work, even though I am a SAHM. BUT, it is really rewarding to have a second kid, cause I believe the first kid would love the brother or sister. Of course there will be squabblings and definitely more noise at home. If you don’t like noise and prefer to have more peace, then you may not want another one. Of course, it is all a personal choice.

You can consider cordless vacuum cleaner the next time you need to replace your current vacuum cleaner.

Did Magnolia milk have an increase in price again? I recall last I used to pay $5.75 for 2 cartons, then it went up $5.95. Today I didn’t see offer and ended up paying $7 for any 2 cartons! :scratchhead:

If you're down at IMM, drop by Best Denki. The last time I was there they showed me a very quiet vc...I cannot remember the brand now....but it was under $300 IIRC.
Told wifey :pokeeye: I'll get that for her for Christmas and kena :heresmyfish: :torchme:
