Hi Charmaine


My Church organised a crash course for us once and that’s because we were heading to Tanjong Balai to visit an orphanage there that weekend. We wanted to do something ‘there and then’ for the kids on the island, so we learnt how to twist some basic animals, swords, flowers, teddy bears etc to cater to the 60 odd kids there during our visit and they had lots of fun. Kept asking us in their broken Engish to twist this and that for them and they had great fun ‘fighting’ with those balloon swords, wearing the balloon hats etc. They treasured the balloon sculptures very much, unlike our kids here.

After that trip, my boys got ‘caught’ and started goggling for balloon sculpturing websites and managed to learn quite a bit from some of the websites that I gave you. They even made a monkey once, very cute.

Go ahead and learn, it is really fun.
