So cloud u paid absd for your going to TOP house ? One HDB n one on hand condo that time , 3rd prop absd is ?
It’s 10 percent !!!
MP, you have 2 properties? Any intention to get another one? -
Cloud, no plan at this point - unless Big opp comes which I highly doubt so - some people are buying coz many of these are HDB upgraders some can’t wait already ( want to use cpf now rather than leave it to T holdings to spend :p) reality , I prefer zero liability - age is catching up for us . No commitment no stress

MP
I truly understand no debt no commitment no stress -
have been thinking about this issue for very long~~
my general feel is:
(Stable job, high pay, like gov job) - should consider to buy condo
(stay in hdb, want to grow $) - maybe can consider other forms of assets investment
(stay in hdb, want lifestyle change for various reasons) - then can consider buying condo -

It does take a certain skill set, especially when you have to do it earnestly.ammonite:

Just a warning perhaps..
to warn people not to be mislead by the numbers and go into a buying spree.
the link mentioned something about developer having to pay 15% SD if not sold within 5 yrs or something like that..
That means, if near 5 yrs and not enough buyers, there might be a fire sale? -

But that is already a known fact isn't it?ammonite:

but ya, maybe to temper the grounds a bit, esp when you take it with the reminder on old HDB flats which I have just realized are priced sky-high at certain places.
