      Hi

Would like to know any parent know the whether can appeal a new programme option for Sec 3 programme option? If yes what is the chances like?

Also if the original preferred option was rejected, what is the chance if to appeal?

Understand some may called for interview for the appeal, does that mean the student will stand a chance?

      Thank you in advance.

yes , you can wear normal track shoes. 70% black, white, dark blue is fine, and no neon colors. welcome to HCI!

Pinkpinkmumz, it will not affect chances of getting into special programmes or exchange programmes. These programmes look at msg. if i am not wrong, it matters more when the boys apply for scholarshp in future…please call school to verify.

very worried mum - there is a window period for appeal. the boys have been briefed. the grades must not be too far off the requirement.

chances really depend on the individual case. believe approval is on a case-by-case basis.

According to school website, there are minimum requirements for OC and IS that a that student must meet to be promoted to the next level.

To apply for S3 special programs, students must achieve \"above average marks\" in OC and IS, though we don't know what average marks are 😉

I like to check how will scholastic grade affect the students? Will it affect their chances of getting into special programs or exchange program etc?

                      Hi all,

I like to check if it is necessary to keep the textbooks and notes esp for maths n science from sec one?
Will the students be tested chinese oral in sec two? So as to prep them for chinese o level in sec three?

                      Thank you.

IMO, keep the notes for maths n science. The science textbook will be used for reference the 4 years, so do keep it.

I think the boys will be tested for chinese oral in sec 3. In sec 1 and 2, the oral communications and chinese debates are impt and these are graded.

The boys will only be taking the O-level HCL paper in Sec 4.
