Ms Neo is a fantastic teacher.

She make an effort to sms parents on what's happening in class.

I am glad someone complimented her, she deserve it.
compliment from Parent, to Tr Ms Neo, for Outstanding effort
http://www.moe.gov.sg/compliments/

I agreed much! too bad she had moved to MOE this year.
She is a very dedicated teacher and making sure her students learn well. Even my son loved her style of teaching.
She went to the extend of meeting up her students at traffic light asking him to submit homework; like my son who likes to procrastinate. She knew my son is a good student. From A to A* , he was very happy.
Yes, she will sms to remind or inform abt my son's hw. She even worked with Maths teacher on his studies and they know my son is a bright boy so they want him to work harder.

As a whole, Juying is a good school always keep the parents informed. Juying was the one called my son to give a placing when I had frantically looked for a vacancy in nearby school unsuccessfully when I moved to jurong west ; even MOE was not helping. I had to travel 5 wkdays daily from jurong to chongfu every day from Jan- FEB via public as no news fm MOE!
The admin clerk is also friendly automatically asked if I want to submit Kifas form as I was not working.
No doubt there are international students, such as Myanmar, China and Australian, they have a very competitive environment. Students are being motivated to move forward and catch up. The top classes are the most hectic;as my son is in it. The teachers really pushed them in a positive way so the kids can excel well. They instil responsibility and doesn't allow to be too complacent . And here, from Mon-thurs they end school at 4pm .Apart from normal remedial classes, at times they would have enrichment classes for maths or science and higher malay.
my son was selected for maths and science Olympiad which I didn't expect to. Initially, I thought Juying is like ordinary school but now I am glad ! They really brush the students to be great students. :rahrah:
Because of your post, I decided to gamble and send my DD to Juying. She will be in P4 next year. Her current pri sch is just stone throw away from our home. However, her school isn't that pro active and she was bullied in school. Furthermore, there were some sexual talks going on. TT.TT

We will be going to register today. Please let this work. :xedfingers: :xedfingers: :xedfingers:

So far so good. We went to Juying and the principal interviewed her. She will be transfer to Juying in 2018. The vibes that Juying gave us on that day was, the school isn't big but it feel friendly, warm and fuzzy. Every staffs, including the principal were really helpful and friendly. My DD is excited and looking forward for next year. Hope everything goes well. :xedfingers:

Dear All,

Just want to update DD progress in her new school.

Yesterday night, DD told me that she is happy that she had transfer to Juying Pri.
The following are her reasons:

1) Teachers are patient. Even when she asked the same question a few time as she don’t understand. Her teachers will explain till she understand how to do it. Unlike her old school, some of her teachers wasn’t that patient. DD is pretty slow in learning because when she don’t understand something. She will keep asking till she has nearly 100% of the details before she will understand how to do it.

2)Teachers are strict. Students in Juying ain’t that rowdy and running around the places. The students can only play at a certain area and with teacher permission. Unlike her old school, kids were running around like no gov.

3) The foods in canteen and student care are a lot better than her old school and student care. I don’t really know how bad the foods in her old school taste like but her friends from old school had told me that sometime the foods taste like old sock. =.=

So far so good…Thank goodness I transfer her to Juying. 😃
