Any parents out there with kids on long term ADHD medications? Do your kid have to visit the Doctor for review every 3 months?

I am a bit surprised that till today as in 2012-3 med are still being given. I actually helped a student wean off med for ADHD in 2 yrs because he was dozing in class and not able to focus because of the meds.

My student just needed retraining in focusing. And some 'brainwashing'.

I have managed to help quite a number of kids with ADHD focus with the same methods.
Years down the road, I realised that I honed enough skills to train my own son. And to realise that I have ADHD myself. And it's really a pretty misunderstood special order.
