If all goes well should be over by 12 plus ? Unless you plan to go for lunch together and also start visiting potential schools that may have special talks / info sessions that afternoon ...Thanks for the sharing Smurfs & 12mum!

If you have to stop due to injury (fairly common if it's a contact sport), you maintain your place in the school.Ganjiongspider:
I have been thinking - any students who DSA via sports, who managed to stop the particular sports becoz of injury - & yet able to continue stay in that IP school? Or worst case scenario is to exit to another school? Anybody know or heard anything before if have such cases?
Yes. I have heard a case where a DSA Sports student was offered to stop the sports because of injury and allowed to stay in the school (IP). -
Does choice of schools Affect chance of entering the school?
If both students hv 260 n both meet cutoff of sch A, but one is 1st choice while the other is 2nd choice (assuming first choice cannot get in for latter student) - both will still get into sch A right? -

I think decimal places after citizenship would come into play and not the choice of the school ...Does choice of schools Affect chance of entering the school?

The T-score that you will get is the rounded score, there is the unrounded score which you will not know ...

Students are posted to secondary schools based on merit. Student with a better rounded aggregate score will be considered for admission first subject to the availability of vacancies in the selected school. If there are no more vacancies, then the student will be considered for his/her next choice school(s).
In situations where there are two or more students with the same rounded aggregate score vying for the last place in a school, they will be posted based on their citizenship status (i.e. Singapore Citizens, then Singapore Permanent Residents, then International Students). If there is still a tie, say between two Singapore Citizens, the one with the higher unrounded aggregate score will be posted into the school first. If there is still a tie between two citizens with the same unrounded aggregate score, then posting into the school will be determined by a computerised ballot where each student is given an equal opportunity.
Students who fail to get a place in any of their choice of schools will be posted to a school near their home which still has vacancies. As such, parents who have changed their official residential address in their NRIC are advised to update the primary school of their new address by the end of PSLE. -
For those with DSA, do they need to register confirmation anywhere?
Heard principal mentioned need to go on internet to accept offer even after getting PSLE results and posting confirmation.
Can someone advise? -

Your PSLE slip should say that your child has been posted to XXX school, assuming your kid accepted the offer for DSA.For those with DSA, do they need to register confirmation anywhere?
