      Lenient mummy:
Hi all. How do we know whether my child is eligible for EDUSAVE SCHOLARSHIPS FOR INDEPENDENT SCHOOLS (ESIS) and NUS high scholarship? No forms attached with the result slip. Thank u.

      from MOE website

      https://www.moe.gov.sg/education/edusave/edusave-scholarships-for-independent-schools-%28esis%29

      5. APPLICATION AND AWARD PROCESS

5.1 Upon the release of the PSLE results, students eligible for the ESIS will be informed. No application is required. Eligible students will be offered the ESIS if they are admitted to an IS and met the eligibility criteria stated in Para 2.

5.2 Upon the release of the school posting results in December, students can check whether they have been offered the ESIS via the Sec 1 Internet System (S1-IS).

5.3 Students who are admitted to IS under the Direct School Admission Exercise will also be offered the ESIS if they met the eligibility criteria stated in Para 2.

                  ESIS (Secondary 1)

                  2. ELIGIBILITY

2.1 The ESIS are awarded to Singaporean students who are in the top one-third of the total number of Secondary 1 students admitted to all IS, based on PSLE results (before bonus points).

2.2 It is also awarded to Primary 6 Gifted Education Programme (GEP) Singaporean students who meet the P6 GEP promotion criteria and are enrolled in the Integrated Programme (IP) of an IS at S1.

                      Hi,

Can someone helped to confirm even if my kid’s eligibity letter did not indicate Japanese as third language, NUSH will still offer the first year students to take up Japanese as an enrichment module (inhouse one)? And only when school starts next year or should register interest somewhere online ? Thanks!

                        Hi,
You will be offered the choice to take up Japanese or French as a 3rd language module as an elective, and your kid will be able to choose at the start of the year. You will be provided with the instructions to register then. 😄
