It's great to know that NYJC has made amazing progress over the last decade as compared to my time with the school more than 2 decades ago when facilities and school popularity is nowhere near today's standards. My DD is excited to join NCHS and I don't rule out that she may be studying at my alma mater one day. Thanks for the information shared.

We may have been schoolmate in NYJC! I remember how bad the toilet condition was, with the doors falling apart and insufficient lighting. :nailbite:

There is usually 1 MSP class per level (got special room for them). The students under MSP will attend it throughout the 4 years (is scheduled in the time table).

Most of the students opted for it when they selected their sec sch (some of them took it since pri sch). Not really sure abt the lessons as we did't really look into it all the while.

Thanks. I’m just thinking if the workload is too much for my DD if she wants to take it. I know of many students in other schools actually dropped their 3rd language after 1st year due to finding it tough to manage the priorities.

There are some students drop MSP after sec 2. Once the students decide to continue at sec 3, it will be all the way to O Level.

MSP lesson is scheduled after school lesson.
Odd week, Mon and Wed
Even week, Tues
Mostly at 230 pm, 3 periods of lesson per session.

MSP can be used to deduct 2pts for O level (max of 4 pts deduction) and can be replaced the humanity subject as R3
