Wah 6 star hotel.....but opening marred by legal disputes

A six-star hotel in the heart of the city is still shuttered more than a year after it was scheduled to open, due to a dispute among its owners. The Patina, Capitol Singapore, whose 157 rooms are spread across the Capitol Building and Stamford House in the City Hall area, was supposed to open by the end of 2015.

I brought my son to the newly opened Buds by Shangri-La last weekend. It was opened on 26 Jan 2018. Truly very impressed with the huge play space and the fact that it's opened to non-hotel guests too. We dined there so we paid $28 for one child + 1 adult free. My son played for 3 hours and enjoyed himself so much.

Now, I told my boy that if he do well in SA1, I will bring him for a staycation at Shangri-La Hotel Singapore. Being a hotel guest, he can play the entire day to his heart's content. Haha! 😂
