Any idea if the students need to wear their pri sch uniform tmr? No info on the nan hua website.

By right MOE stated official uniform is pri sch uni. But if throw away liao just go by left and wear home clothes (just dun be too casual can liao).

What they nid is ur DC in person and his or her particulars.

2 sets each sufficient?
Are they allowed to wear PE top to school or can only change while in school?

2 sets shd be sufficient

PE attire during normal lessons is strictly NOT allowed in Nan Hua (applies to other secondary schs also). Only can change at the PE lesson itself if the rules hasnt changed

Would not be surprised since Nan Hua is very rigid in everything all the time just be prepared especially if u r aiming for triple sci classes.

Can anyone advise how to insert the metal buttons for the shoulder straps? I heard need to remove the buttons before washing.

@Tokidoki I guess I found the answer for this. (and I did't knew this until yest coz the sch covered up on this part of its history all this while, guess u can realise why haha)

From 2 articles published in 2000 and 1999 in Lianhe Zaobao respectively, which featured a section on the history of NHHS (formerly Nan Hua Sec):

Nan Hua High is a full government school (directly under MOE) while Nan Hua Primary is still government-aided. Dats y there is a period of time it was called Nan Hua Secondary. That also explain why NHHS's crest is in Simplified Chinese instead of its original crest and name insignia in Traditional Chinese (the one of NHPS), and that the sch song have an additional English verse (there was a period when the school song was in full English).

So technically NHHS cannot be affiliated with NHPS like it once was due to the policy as a full government school. (tho the schs did made efforts to emphasise the link between the two schools thru a common heritage.)

Hmm last time I modified and sewed the shoulder buttons on instead (dat was after a small incident at home). (as long as the buttons are there shd b fine bah, unless the sch became more stingy )

Basically useless. The rings are just to follow the old tradition which I find no point. Legit just wasting time.
