      Hi

Can anyone advise how to insert the metal buttons for the shoulder straps? I heard need to remove the buttons before washing.
Hmm last time I modified and sewed the shoulder buttons on instead (dat was after a small incident at home). (as long as the buttons are there shd b fine bah, unless the sch became more stingy πŸ˜“ )

        Tks Eddisema.

If I sew the buttons on, what are the rings for?

Basically useless. The rings are just to follow the old tradition which I find no point. Legit just wasting time.

Shd b okay. As long as the storage condition is not humid the buttons wont rust easily in the closet. Usually metal stuff on clothing wont rust if worn frequently. πŸ˜„

But if possible put the uniform in a laundry mesh bag during the wash. Dat will also reduce the chance of colourisation by other clothes. For me last time we rinsed the shirt separately in a pail with a bit of bleach and Vanish washing powder (comes in a pink container).

                  Hi there,

Anyone staying at Sengkang ? My DS has been posted to Nan Hua and it will be a 30+ drive each way. It will be nice if someone can share one of the legs driving to or from the school. Thanks.

Your boy din chose Nan Chiau? Would have been nearer. Too bad no news on which class they are posted yet. Let's update here after first day of school.

For us, we are travelling from Woodlands/Yishun.

哇!ε₯½ε‹‡ζ•’! Dat will really mean driving him every day to sch? Will be really hard to take train or bus to sch on time fm west to east...And somewhat agree with Tokidoki, 南侨 is nearer and their standards also very high (try do their papers u will noe, like ε—εŽ thr papers also quite siao de #difficult).

Anw do keep a lookout to make sure boiboi can cope as will be a tiring 4 yrs (if really there is an issue must act bef sec 3 coz dat is the best time where u can start a course afresh if u nid to change to another SAP sch, in worse case scenario). The main aim is to get him to a good JC (very very impt, esp for PW and stuff), or his dream path aft O Lvl. ATB for him! 加油! πŸ˜„
