Me Time!

I've converted to using my phone calendar now. It's easier to have it with me all the time.ammonite:
Glad to see kids out the door today. Got a traditional wall calendar from Union Gas for the first time ever. All the big sweep draw dates are clearly marked out.
I always have a similar wall calendar for family events.
Trying to get some work done now as I intend to go shopping with my younger girl this afternoon - to buy a few \"serious\" clothes for interviews etc, and some casual \"non t-shirt\" tops.
Still trying to find recommendations for pte driving instructors who teach auto for her. Seems like not so easy to find! -
it’s back to the days of looking at the clock again.
SIL asked me about reunion dinner, hubby asked how much to change for ang bao…but my mind is only occupied with when the flat can be sold followed by renovation and moving. if only i can install more memory chips into my brain. -
It is the first time for me to get a "traditional" wall calendar. I don’t think my kids have ever used one before.
I do use my phone calendar for my personal items, but a wall calendar is indispensable for keeping track of family’s schedule so everyone knows what is going on. Plus on the wall, the onus is on each individual to update his schedule. -

my plate is FULL with daughter's schedule, viewing of flat (have to keep weekends free) and planning renovation with ID. i make christmas cards every year but 2017, it slipped my mind completely because i was feeling moody with lack of viewing. -

I refuse to share a calendar with my husband as he has so many appointments! And he doesn't want all the kids' stuff on his calendar either. So we just update one another verbally depending on who is involved. It's worked so far.

We don't do reunion dinner with my parents; we see them first thing on the 1st day. My husbnd's oldest brother has already told us he will settle the venue for the dinner (eating out as no-one has energy to cook), and we will meet at his daughter's flat for the afternoon/evening of the 1st day. His wife, the best cook of the family, will provide a simple dinner on the 1st day.

I guess I should start thinking about how much to change into new notes... -
i stick to certain colours for hubby and my appointments. for eg all doctor appts are green, his tuition sessions lavender, school holidays yellow, public holidays light blue.

Spent ME time this morning delivering pre-loved stuff to a couple of locations. Some more to go but I feel so much lighter already with the off-load.
This year’s resolution is to be more conscientious in optimising resources. Do things within my control to minimise extravagance as well as to cut down waste. 加油.
