For me, it is the paying loan that is absolutely stressful :imdrowning:

For me, entering (or even exiting) the property market at the wrong timing is the most stressful.

The unit I bought, the previous owner bought at the peak, ended up selling cheaper than her purchase price and lost $$

I don't know when is the right timing for properties.
Buying veg is easier :imcool:

The process is very stressful, after this, I don’t think I want to buy/sell anymore.

Stressful as in negotiation n getting the otp signed? I think it is more like a emotions thingie..waiting game..etc.. The viewing process oso v tiring. Hv to deal wf agents, seller, lawyer etc...
Don't worry..After some times, u will be seasoned liao..
Later still hv to deal with tenant, agent, contractor, mcst.... :roll:
When come to property mgmt, nvr ending process...

[/quote]Sometimes it is a bit luck when come to properties selling/buying. V hard to tell whether it is right timing leh.

My frd recently purchased a property at good price. The seller willing to let go at much lower price. He has many properties so write-down on only 1 property shouldn't then bother him too. Likely he has other more profitable investments on mind & timing being crucial etc.. figured overall he'll be better off financially dumping this property off to avail some fund for other better investments.

I have been checking propertyguru regularly for the past few months and I notice some owners relaunching their units at a higher selling price since 1st Jan 2018 and units that are priced reasonably are sold fast.

Congrats! Is it freehold or 99 year if you don't mind me asking?

Am just glad everything was over.
Saw a few 4 bedders but couldn’t find one that we liked so we decided to get something to rent out instead.

The buying process was a stressful one after my cheque (agreed price by both sides) was returned to me 3 days later when the seller got greedy at the very last minute.

Going for viewing is quite fun.

During the viewing, I saw something I liked and gave in to the seller’s asking price, but the cheque was returned to me after 3 days and the owner asked for $150K more. I was very upset and couldn’t sleep for few days.

When two units I shortlisted were sold over the same weekend because I couldn’t make up my mind, I panicked and couldn’t sleep again for a few days. Haha, just glad that everything is over and I really do not wish to go through such an emotional roaster coaster again.

Oops, I am sure to lose sleep again if my unit goes vacant for few months.

Aiya, I don’t mind lah, it is a freehold property. I told you before roughly where I stayed right? The unit is 5 mins walk from my place.
