I don’t think there is an end to how much we need to have for retirement. If we intend to retire in Singapore, you probably need to have passive incomes. It’s quite scary how money can be inflated over a period of 10 years. 10 years ago, cars only cost $65000. Now it’s double the amount, and even with double the amount, you can only get a miserable 1.5 L car. Sad.

Not all can generate passive income; at least need to save a lump sum to draw down when retired. Once that sum finishes, it is time to leave

The problem is that we don’t know when we will pass away. I plan to stop any food restriction when I am 70 years old. I want to eat whatever I want. At the same time hopefully those food will shorten my life. But what if I just get illnesses but can’t die? Or, even worse, paralysed but can’t die?

I don't know about you, but already I find myself unable to eat food that are too rich or sweet. I think by 70, we would definitely only want easily digestible food??

I can still eat too rich or sweet things :oops: Lately I find chicken has chicken smell :roll: so I don't eat certain chicken dishes. I am looking forward to the days I can eat chicken curry without feeling guilty
