Hi,

Did anyone successfully get enrol back to the Math Olympiad Training module in the 2nd semseter if they didnt do the module in 1st semster ? Is there a MO test or how to seek approval ? The timetable clashes with the Third lang for now as DS couldnt get the desired timeslot…TIA

each year's orientation has different activities for each cohort and a different mass dance, so it's very nostalgic to us!

I witnessed it yesterday.
Not all will drop their tasks but it was entertaining to see the boys in their chess games jiving :imcool: to the music ....while planning their moves on the board ! :rotflmao:

We're also faced with the same problem. DS status for Maths Olympiad now pending. Anyone knows when will outcome be known? Thanks.

Not possible to take MO in second semester if never take the MO module on first semester as MA1231 is pre-requisite for MA1232 (check programme of studies in the same link above)

Maths Olympiad classes conducted in schools are generally run by external vendors specifically to prepare for Maths Olympiad competitions etc, and are not known to actually prep for DSA. Whether Maths Olympiad training will help for DSA selection tests, and specifically for NUSH DSA, it's not a known fact.
