Me Time!

I haven't used any either. I'm not sure what I want to learn/do, so I haven't looked into the available courses in any detail. The problem is that I feel I'm fine in terms of work skills, so I don't think any of the related ones are going to be of any value. I'm not free enough at this time to want to take any of the leisure/hobby type. I was quite turned off by a couple of people who have come knocking on my door offering free stuff (tablet etc) if I sign on for a course - probably one of those who should be prosecuted for abusing the system? I'd be interested to hear what others have done with their credits too.[/quote]ImMeeMee:
I have been looking up some online courses which can utilise the skillsfuture credit. Have you utilised yours, for what kind of courses and how's the experience like.
following!
I have not utilised the credits too.
At this stage I can only look for online courses cos I can't make the time for classroom sitting.
I am currently looking into some courses on entrepreneurship. Its a new area for me and i thought it would be interesting to know the frameworks, methodology and tools that experts utilise, and see what i can keep or throw out. Though i do agree the entrepreneurship spirit cannot be taught. Entrepreneurship is not just about businesses, it can be applied to any individual or social cause. Who knows it can help to counter my internal demons every time I want to start something new.
I am also keen to learn macroeconomics , but not sure if this is too cheem considering I have no finance background. Behavioural science would be fun too, but I haven't found anything along this line.
So much to learn on my wishlist. So little time. -
Well, am keen in some cooking or sewing courses; definitely not stressing my brain cells further.

This is the kind of thing I would be interested in, but it doesn't feel right for me to take time off for this now. Also, I find that I am fine learning online and reading up, so I'm not sure I want to be bound to a course. -

SL, it's a cycle thing? For the past 3 to 4 years I had felt drained and had blocked out acad stuff, only to focus on my sewing craft. But I seem to have reached the stage where I would like to take up some acad learning once again. And since learning funds are there to utilise, lets make use of given resources. -
Received my workfare letter recently. I am a bit confused by the website - it listed four points for who qualify for the subsidy and one of them is if we earn a gross monthly salary of not more than $2000? So earnings above that means we don’t qualify for the subsidy even if we get the letter? Or is the website in need of updating?

Look at the exclusions - they look at value of home, no. of properties, and spouse's earnings too. It's not so easy to get! -
