I am a new parent with a daughter who is due for P1 admission in 2011, and I am keen to enrol her into HIPS. Could any mummies offer some advice as to what/how I should go about doing this? Unfortunately, I do not have any point of reference within the small family to ask of. Pls help me out…Tks in advance.

As for discipline. At the moment my P3 going to P4 girl do not have discipline problem.

Applying under phase 2B under 1-2km seems like a safe choice.

But under phase 2C, there is no chance. I think there is balloting for below 1km.

I did PV last year with completion of 40hrs. Base on HIPS historical balloting results (3-4 yrs results), balloting requires in >2km in phase 2B and 1-2km in phase 2C.

My daughter is in P1 this year..2 observations:
1. She also complaint of mosquitoes bite
2. Not sure which/what book she suppose to bring base on her timetable.

Overall she likes the school....I am comtemplating whether to do something to switch her to PLMGS as I find PLMGS has better CCA programs and selection. Can someone advise what is the procedure/protocol to switch from one school to another??
