I hope so. Do u have any idea from your knowledge what is the success rate of those LKC waitlist candidates?[/quote]Sent you PM
Chances of getting your LKC waitlist converted to an offer are very high. Reason being most with offers from both unis will choose YLL over LKC.jtoh:

LKC just sent out wait list letter to my son. -
Any idea on the success rate of wait list being offered?

Heard the conversion rate from wait list to confirm offer is pretty high. But do not have the estimate figure. Maybe can check with LKC admission on the past data. -
Hi there,
Can anyone advise on the process? How would NTU LKC waitlist move fast if results for NUS YLL will be out only in early May and the students will be given about a month to decide, which brings it to early June. Also, those who get accepted by both unis and decide to choose NUS are not required to reject NTU, which means NTU can only provide confirmation to those on waitlist after the acceptance dateline. Does this mean those on NTU LKC waitlist will only get the confirmation by June/July? In addition, I know of students who applies for Med as 1st choice, then Law/Dentistry. Will students of such be offered both Med and Law/Dentistry at the same time? Many thanks. -

Acceptance for uni courses are on a shared central platform. So if a student selects NUS, all the other schools that have made him an offer will know that they have been rejected. You are correct that only after the acceptance deadline will NTU be able to make an offer to those on the waitlist, when they know exactly how many spots are available.Hi there,

Students will only be offered ONE course per university. So you will not be offered a choice of med/law/dentistry etc. Just your first successful chocie. -
Many thanks! Much appreciate your advice

I did read from some past postings that someone on the LKC waitlist did receive offer as early as 2nd or 3rd week of May before the Joint Acceptance close.Hi there,

It's possible but considering applicants can change their minds any time before the acceptance deadline, the uni is taking the risk that the applicant sticks with his decision. Unless the applicant only has an offer from LKC and not YLL and decides to reject LKC. Even then, I think you can change your mind before the acceptance deadline.

There will be some applicants who will inform the university if they are not intending to take up the place. Then the university will be able to make additional offers. Maybe not many, but there will be a few.
