          Hi Carebear,

Did your helper manage to clear Indon custom hassled free?

My ex-helper who returned two months ago called me to say she wanted to come back to work for me. I am wondering if it is straight forward for her to buy ticket to come to SG and I do the online application at MOM. Just wondering if she will hv issue at Indon Immigration.

Just an update, my ex-helper managed to arrive SG safely yesterday night (20/03/2018) via Batam. She flew from her hometown to Batam. At Batam, I managed to get an agent to pick her up from airport and send her to ferry terminal. The agent helped to buy her the ferry ticket and facilitate the custom clearance at Batam. In SG, she managed to clear SG Immigration with the IPA (In Principle Approval) letter from MOM.

If she has KPIS card u don’t need an agent arh. Just buy her online 2-way e-tic, go MOM online apply Home Leave, make sure her FDW insurance covers period both on home leave & when she starts on new contract with u. She’ll need her WP card bcoz at Changi airport she’ll need to show officer before they can stamp her passport.
