Yes, that did cross my mind but very few will do that. Most would just indicate via the central platform that they are rejecting the offer and leave it at that. And the uni would likely have to wait until the acceptance deadline to confirm the number of places.jtoh:
It's possible but considering applicants can change their minds any time before the acceptance deadline, the uni is taking the risk that the applicant sticks with his decision. Unless the applicant only has an offer from LKC and not YLL and decides to reject LKC. Even then, I think you can change your mind before the acceptance deadline.
There will be some applicants who will inform the university if they are not intending to take up the place. Then the university will be able to make additional offers. Maybe not many, but there will be a few. -

I have an enquiry. For those with wait list from LKC medical school and if we have indicated other options when we submit the application to NTU , does it mean we will not even get an offer until we know for sure if our wait list eventually materialise to an offer ( hopefully) or get the final rejection from LKC medical school ? -
If you have indicated other choices(courses), your application will be sent to those for consideration. If accepted, they will offer you the courses. Wait list is a separate exercise outside the system.

Once you meet the COP (around 87.5 depending on the year cohort) and are shortlisted the UAS score doesn’t matter anymore. The determine factors will then be your BMAT results (for NTU)/ SJT(for NUS) and the interviews.Hi, All,
