Parents with boys really feel the impact of the recent ns mishap ... esp intense for those with boys in ns , boys going to ns .... etc ... this case is such negligence n mismanage.. how not to worry ...it is easier said than .... .... if only one has boys/close nephews/brothers, u feel the fear right deep down ! losing trust/confident ...sigh! -

Did the national steps challenge rewards end already? I received a notification a few days ago. The rewards were pretty good :imcool: -

I saw a msg few days back say ending. I have the 365 installed by dh on my hp but never redeem anything, just scanned a few ntuc QR code only.. how to redeem..dunno still can still or not now..I m using another hp with the wechat werun to track. when i walk I usually dont bring the one with 365, guess no reward arh.MrsKiasu:

When elder boy was serving NS, he never said anything bad about NS during BMT to us. We also dunno whether he was lucky to have meet reasonable people or he did not want to make us worried. When he was posted to Pasir Laba Camp for the SCS course and was on prolonged MC due to the chronic backache and was posted to clerical work while waiting for his PES status to be downgraded, he also did not mention whether he was labeled as \"Keng\". Well, subsequently his PES was back to B. Due to the previous prolonged MC, he missed the SCS training for too long and was posted to the admin office without a proper vocation. Still, he did not mention anything about being a Keng.
During the recent Hari Raya, he was invited to one of the admin officer's house.
I guess elder boy has met good people in the Pasir Laba admin office of his platoon.
Soon, it will be ah boy's turn to serve NS.
If he still does not mature by then, I would be worried. -

Need to schedule the washing+drying of laundry around this type of weather as well as the usage of dryer :faint: -
There was a time, due to heavy schedule, what I did was to throw in my clothes for wash right after dinner & shower and hang up the clothes. My mum wld put the clothes tobthe sun next morning catching whatever heat we can.
We’ve this habit of checking for dried clothes in btwn chores or lunch. As most dried clothes alr brot in over last couple of checks, when the rain comes, its less to bring in esp with sudden downpour.
