Made a right decision to run errands in the early afternoon. Reached home and the rain came. Heng ah.
Nowadays, it is thunderstorm in the afternoon. I completed my errands in the morning too
NEA advisory was thundering showers in the month of May, another month of hot and wet days. I guess would be similar to month of April. -

Need to schedule the washing+drying of laundry around this type of weather as well as the usage of dryer :faint: -
There was a time, due to heavy schedule, what I did was to throw in my clothes for wash right after dinner & shower and hang up the clothes. My mum wld put the clothes tobthe sun next morning catching whatever heat we can.
We’ve this habit of checking for dried clothes in btwn chores or lunch. As most dried clothes alr brot in over last couple of checks, when the rain comes, its less to bring in esp with sudden downpour. -

this way, the clothes would act as a curtain and block the morning sun coming into the kitchen. -
janet
haha… curtain! those triangular ones also act as curtain?
I also prefer to wash in the evening. -

if there are no bed sheets or towels for that day, I hang several shirts/tees on the grilles to block out the sun. -
I do it whenever there is a full basket and i have time, regardless of time of the day. This morning i loaded it before going to the gym.

same here..my side also wait till laundry basket full then wash at any time of the day. just ensure uniforms and socks are of 1 week supply then no worries.
bought the maggi cup pasta (first time trying) because it came with iona 0.7l slow cooker..real small more suited for baby food I guess, but too cute cant resist

I generally do laundry first thing in the morning, but not every morning if I don't have enough of either dark or light clothes for a full load. I occasionally do it at night if I know I have an early start the next day, and there is enough to be worth doing.
