I guess the carpentry work will take a few days. After electrical work, you do a spring cleaning and can start moving things.

There is still light rain at BPP and am enjoying my lunch and then grocery shopping

carpentry will take 2 days or maybe 3 days. shower screens for both toilets still in the process of manufacturing. then there is one more item - venetian blinds just for the living room.
there will be chemical wash once everything is completed before ID hands over.

ID told me he is aiming to complete end May...so I better plan for early June.
            what is outstanding:
            1) carpentry
            2) lights
            3) painting of door frames
            4) venetian blinds
            5) chemical wash

                      Shalom very ex.

                      Try Charis Movers - +65 6483 3707 used thembtwice becoz they’re good & reliable.

                      I’ve tried CitiMap - 6754 2555 before Charis.

Do be very careful some movers helped my neighbor & they had boxes missing. Label & number all yr boxes. I’ve family members positioned at both homes & DH drive over with them.

                        Thank you Esteema.

I plan to move boxes with important documents, clothes as well as light items over first...then what is left will be labelled and numbered for the movers. Pasted big plain stickers to indicate where each box is meant for like pots/pans, cutlery, soap detergent in kitchen etc, short of numbering each box.
Mum and I will be at the new place. Hubby and son will be at present place and then drive over with them.
Any left over items will be taken care of after we have unpacked over the next 2 days before handing the keys over.
