Going to try making kee chang as bought the ingredients yesterday when go buy some other sundries. Went to popular yesterday after reading one ksp member mentioned about the sale. Actually dont have anything in mind but thought of just get some compo books for both chi/eng for dds to read lor. One dd parked at library and another dd tasked to queue for me 😂 the queue was long 😓

I love to eat kee chang...freshly steamed and dipped with sugar.

I am afraid of long queues...but can't resist Bookfest every year. He will alight me first and then I will quickly get what I need. Then I queue while he sees his IT toys and when done, I will take a look.

        What is campor wood?

        Heard of campor oil?

        樟木
        zhāng mù

It's a very big tree found in China, Taiwan, & Japan but hv since been cultivated elsewhere. Whilst it's toxic to insects, in the hands of those who know how to harvest it it's used as medicine for acne, arthritis, gout or asthma/any types of respiratory illness. There are many other uses such as essential oil & pesticides. I only know these.

        Camphor?

You could try some of those aromatherapy places which sell scented oils or wood? I have used camphor balls before in China - they look like moth balls (not wooden) but are scented with camphor oil and not naphthalene. They might be available in supermarkets, though I've never looked here.

Interesting, I subconsciously thot these wood shld come in ball form.

The the round plate-form, it’s more cost- & time-effective bcoz u take it & sand-paper yearly to refresh the strong fragrant fr the campor wood to effectively chase away insects & crawlers. Only once a year instead of throwing out the balls.

getting someone to clean the inside of the cupboards 2moro.

I can breathe a sigh of relief after that, because next tue onwards, I can start bringing not so heavy stuff over bit by bit before actual move.

Yay, start moving some boxes over 🙂

Heard from FM963 this morning that one needs to have some ME time no matter how busy she is. The ME time can be some 10-20 min before sleep.

                So fulfilling, but backaches started.

                  Starlight,
I don't mind vacuum, mopping, ironing (2x a week), washing the fans & hanging up laundry...but I just hate cleaning of any kind.
My ME time is every night after hanging up wet laundry.

I've used up 40 boxes :faint: and still have so much daily essentials.
it's hard to believe we will be shifting next week after staying here for 20 years.

What's your definition of \"cleaning\"? I would classify \"vacuum, mopping, ... washing the fans\" as cleaning! And I dislike all that too!

It's only when you pack and move that you realise how much stuff you have.

me time going to do some catch ups at coffee shop after distributing some ‘goodies’. Kinda nice to see many activities around of people getting busy to go work/kids go kindy. Feel fresher recalling my younger time.

I am most probably the odd one as I don't think my family has that much. Of course prior to the move, we dumped a lot a lot.

When I work, I look forward to having ME time.
When I am on leave, I look forward to returning to work.
