What's your definition of \"cleaning\"? I would classify \"vacuum, mopping, ... washing the fans\" as cleaning! And I dislike all that too!

It's only when you pack and move that you realise how much stuff you have.
as in taking a cloth and a pail of water to clean table tops, cupboards, windows. I just hate it!
I like the clothes to be neatly folded. occasionally, I will pull out everything from the cupboards and fold the clothes...and take out the worn out ones. I do the same for the kids.

I use wet tissues, even for cleaning window grilles and fans, so I am very fast with such chores.

For windows, I use vinegar & newspaper. Not those expensive organic vinegar. You can get those distilled vinegar. In fact, once a month, I’ll use a little ginger vinegar for cleaning my full leather couch & sofa.

I hardly clean the glass - lucky can't see dirt or dust unless i use my bare hand to rub the glass panels -which I won't . ...& i wait for God's mercy to give me heavy down pour to self clean window glass 😂
my ds has quite a lot of lego limited edition n watever robots figures .. we will put the toys in a pail of water of i use gentle shower to shower rinse them, then leave in toilet to self dry for a day . No hard efforts . BUT need to wipe of the dust fr shelves - I will use the dusting paper too .. faster. dh will use a wet cloth n a pail of water ...different cleaning style n efforts . we dun bother each other much , so long its clean up !

                  Ammonite,
My aunt found me a part time cleaner.
She cleaned all the cupboards and windows today.
I am so happy and relieved because it has been bugging me.
Will probably look for her to clean up the place after we have unpacked.

if the windows are dirty, even heavy rain won't wash off the dirt.
after we move in, I would probably ask the part time cleaner to clean the windows every 2-3 months, clean the floor, shoe cabinet and wash shower screens.

Janet , I have no part time maid , neither did we clean full window panel for many years - mayb mine are dark brown so can’t see dirt - lucky me - so long no oily finger prints , we leave as it is . I consider myself clean freak but pay lil attention to window panels . Window ledge need to be dust free to me .

Balcony sliding doors , yes clean about once every few months due to hand prints fr dh n kids
