Janet , I have no part time maid , neither did we clean full window panel for many years - mayb mine are dark brown so can’t see dirt - lucky me - so long no oily finger prints , we leave as it is . I consider myself clean freak but pay lil attention to window panels . Window ledge need to be dust free to me .

Balcony sliding doors , yes clean about once every few months due to hand prints fr dh n kids
      MyPillow,
I didn't have any part time maid all these years...after sending off the maid 8 years ago, I didn't get any part timer because the one who cleans my mum's place is so disorganized. I just couldn't be bothered cleaning the windows because I dislike doing so.
But I am very hardworking when it comes to dusty and sticky floor :rotflmao: because it bothers me.

Wat is part time maid rate ?

I would like to have but my mama staying under my roof does not like it ....and my senior will cause disharmony in the House .dh & I Are totally domestic maid on wk ends , the only console I told myself is I save couple of hundreds not having part time maid - allow me to buy other investment products to grow more money 钱生钱 啊!
Until I m older n ache here n there , I sure need a full time maid ,if I m still working, at maybe above 56
the part time maid charges $15/hr...minimum 3 hours.
I got the part time maid this time because the cupboards are very dirty since they are new, as well as the windows as it has been raining...lots of dirt accumulated on the window sill.
she cleaned for 6 hours today. the ID asked me not to clean the floors and toilets as he will be doing a chemical wash next Monday.
now that we do not have a full time maid, we have saved a lot of headaches. hope I don't have to employ one again. if I do need to engage a part time maid, it would be every 3 months to clean windows and shower screen.

my ds has quite a lot of lego limited edition n watever robots figures .. we will put the toys in a pail of water of i use gentle shower to shower rinse them, then leave in toilet to self dry for a day . No hard efforts .
MP, we can clean Lego this way?? I feel so stupid now, have been painstakingly wiping (and dying). Do you soak in soapy water or just halfway in warm water and shower rinse? My sons have a huge collection that is killing me.

I used to clean Duplo and Lego like MP. Just soak a few minutes in soapy water, get the kids to stir it up a bit (they loved getting wet when they were small), then drain and rinse with water. I used to spread them out on a towel somewhere to dry rather than leaving them in the bathroom.

ammo, no need soap water . normal tap water. Lego quality v good, won't dis-coloured
for stubborn trapped dust, point n spray the shower into the gaps to rid off dust
For those normal lego fig (not complicated structure), i just put them in pail of water , rinse the toys n take out
If u need fast dry , just use hair dryer to dry them - this part kid can help ,easy task
else i leave them on a piece of dry rag to air dry or sun dry near windows/balcony etc
