I am thinking of enrolling my son (k1) for their math enrichment. Any comments or feedback from mummies?

Charges are expensive compared with many others…one term for both phonics n maths is around 1k. 2 hours per session / per week.

Phonics has incorporate English primary school program like comprehension, composition, cloze passage, grammer etc…very difficult for my kid.

It is actually one hour per subject per week. If your kid is enrolled for two subjects, then it's back to back lessons and two hours per week. They used to have 3 levels for each subject. Now, not sure. For phonics, only level 2 is doing compre, compo (give u 4 pictures, u write two sentences for each pic), cloze passage, spelling etc. Their spelling has both traditional spelling, phonic spelling and sight word spelling.

Both subjects uses montesorri methods to teach.

Each subject is about $500/term, one hour per lesson.

The boom in online distance education has brought massive changes in global arena, especially in gulf region, where the need of distance education is more than any other part of the world. Dubai, the heart of gulf region, and one of the most important city of the world, has again taken in a lead towards making distance education within the reach of every resident.

Many prominent universities have opened their online campuses in Dubai to meet the acute shortage of quality professionals as per the needs of the region. Distance education in Dubai is gaining popularity as it fully meets the needs of the Dubai market. Since, almost every global company has its presence in Dubai; the need of quality professionals is badly felt, which these online universities can meet successfully. The online universities have widely been regarded as the easiest way for education, learning due to the flexibility of online classes, and less infrastructure costs.
Distance education in Dubai has made the access of quality education to everyone; the most beneficent are the remote areas in United Arab Emirates and its adjoining region. Now students can get access to world class education with ease and can get the degree of top-notch universities at a very affordable price. This is a huge change for the gulf region, which will open a new world of possibilities for entire region.
Distance education in Dubai has realized a distant dream of making education within the reach of every individual. The degree programs which are being offered by these universities are 100% job-oriented, therefore the recruiters prefer to shortlist the graduates from these distinguished universities. This makes the investment made by the students and working professionals to pay back.
Considering the global factors, and access of internet to every corner of the world, one can easily predict that much more has to come from these online universities which will surely transform the world, we live in.
