Ah Ha! We are in same boat leh. My first job after comeback is really stressful though good pay. Complain and relieve stress at HB, and he simply act blurr.... HB told me before, he also have stress at work, and still take care of 2 \"babies\" after work....

HB did mentioned afterall DS only need supervision until Secondary 2 at most which is 8 years. After dat teenager time DS don't want us \"anymore\". ๐Ÿ˜ข

Reckon is all about balance. HB says cant have 2 cakes and eat it. That's why we downgrade move house, and I change to a less stressful and flexible work for less pay.

Wonder why the newspapers always feature FTWM and yet have time and energy to attend to home matters and family like SAHMs, stressing family balance. Like a piece of cake..... ๐Ÿ˜

Can I know the topic for the Maths Test?

My child usually gets 1 day notice only.
We were only informed about the Compo Test(today) yesterday!

Actually the kids were told to write in handbook 1 week or so before the test, unfortunately not all kids pay attention and write.... Like my DS. However the kids will be reminded 1 day before.
hi dicky, u and hubby are working? how many kids do u have?

M and hubby are working and we have 2 kids.....second son is 3 yr old plus.
i feel very tired..thinking to give up my job.

The plan to stay at home for the kids is always at the back of my mind, but so far no courage to carry out yet.
Really kudos to all the SAHMs and the sacrifices they have made for the kids!

hi, constancet, thanks for sharing with me your views...M too really kudos to all the SAHMs and sacrifices they have made for the kids. i am struggle between \"sacrifices\" and \"luxury lifestyle\".
1 income is enough to survive but 2 incomes can have slightly luxury lifestyle.....
Yeah, i know what you mean abt having to choose bet a simple, no frills lifestyle and a slighty better one.
We have 4 kids, so hb always tell me I gotta give up some of their enrichment lessons if i choose to stay at home.
Actually when i work, i still have abit of \"me\" time during office hours every day. But will miss out much on their childhood....
Once I stay at home, i will be facing the kids 24/7, unless i choose to give myself a break on some days.
Sigh.
Can't have the best of both worlds....
