Hope YLL will give more chances to NS boys.

Do remember to arrange the medicinal check now.[/quote]

I feel that firstly those NS boys have less time for preparing interviews and tests. As NS training really tough, they came back weekend for interview and test. I donโ€™t think they should have time for preparing the interviews and tests. Secondly medicine is really tough job as well, it needs good health as well. Thirdly, those NS man is trained to protect the country. I really respect their contribution to the nation. Anyway, this is my personal thinking, Correctly me if I am wrong.

Thanks for understanding my points. Actually I donโ€™t have NS boy. Just feel sad for those boys who loves medicine but never got in.
Honestly, it is harder to get into medicine and dentistry as the grades must be good and also personโ€™s character must be excellent as well.
Althrough those boys can apply nus medicine next year through EIS, the chances are very low to get shortlist.
Those boys need take the BMAT for apply ntu medicine. Anyway, that is life.

My DS just got an email this morning with an offer to YLL! He didn't believe it at first, called and they confirmed it.

Its such a blessing, was planning to reapply next year. I hope more applicants will get the offer too.

gardenia64, thank you for your faith in our NS boys ๐Ÿ™‚

Did he get any offer for other courses within NUS before receiving the offer this morning?

He had dentistry as his second choice but was not called up for interview.

I knew nus dentistry has shortlist for 500 students and only chose 60 students. Is your son applying through EIS ? Sorry, I am just curious. Thanks.
