hello everyone!
I am new to this, i am thinking about sending my daughter to Qifa. I have a few questions, appreciate any advice!
1. how is the after-school care in Qifa, this is a big concern for us. as both of us are working, and our offices are not near this area? how is the quality/teacher, is it hard to get in?
2. if there is any good after-school care center's nearby the school?
we actually moved to this area for Qifa, but we don't have helper, and parents are quite far away (I do not want to bother them everyday to pick up the kid). If the after school care can't sort out, we may need to consider other schools.
Thank you everyone for your advice !

The school has changed the vendor at the beginning of the year. So far, feedbacks are positive. Priority will be given to lower pri students from lower income families followed by students from P1. -

Hi Lash,
For years, all vacancies have been taken up in phrase 2C thus phrase 2C (S) is not applicable.
As for phrase 2C,
There was balloting last year for PRs who are staying within 1km for 2018 intake.
And balloting was for Singaporeans who stayed more than 2km in 2016 for 2017 intake.
Just to be clear, there were only 7 classes in 2017 intake resulting to balloting for Singaporeans.
The intake was then increased to 8 classes for 2018.
I believed the intake for 2019 will remain at 8 classes. You might want to call the school for confirmation.
As for this year, really unsure yet but as it is the intake for dragon babies, you might need to monitor closely. From what I understand, phrase 2B might have a higher intake this year as compared to past years resulting to lesser vacancies for phrase 2C.
Also, from last year's observation, many parents who had the intention of registering in Nanhua came to Qifa on first day of registration for phrase 2C cos of the limited space in Nanhua. Many didn't want to take the risk and came straight to Qifa to secure a place.
Hope the info will help you in making your final decision.
Cheers -
2019 intake remains at 8 classes of 30 each = 240. MOE has just updated their vacancies website on 1st June: https://www.moe.gov.sg/admissions/primary-one-registration/vacancies#Clementi
