A quick check with NJC parents here. I have a few questions and hopefully you can help.

      1. Is getting into NJC subject combination for Science 5, 7, 8, 9 and 10 difficult? Are these classes very limiting? Top 5/10 percentile?
      http://nationaljc.moe.edu.sg/programmes/subject-combinations/

      2. How difficult it is to get to study further Mathematics in Year 5 and 6? Is it only top 5/10 percentile?

I just opened the link and saw the graphic representation of subj combi
The graphic representation is new to me 😂
Ah boy is taking PCME, all at H2, which looks like Science 8 in which Biology could be a subject replacing Physics.

In NJC, majority of the students take the combi PCME, all at H2.

          THANKS Jen!

DC1 was hoping science 8 or 10. But I told him too far fetched. Let’s take one step at a time. My heart is too weak for sudden changes.

Hi, I’m looking for an LA tutor for my child. Would anyone have any recommendations please?

Have any heard of Mdm Yu who conducts her lessons at Tanglin Community Club? Saw her name on a website but no information on her background. Wanted to hear feedback from students or parents who have engaged her before.

            Thanks!
