Having a safety net is better than none.
If the child does very well, he/she can go to any school and not necessarily the affiliated secondary. The cut off point for affiliated secondary is quite a big ‘discount’ compared to those without affiliation and also competing with others to get into the school.
Affiliation takes away some stress when taking PSLE. -

Ask your friend to repeat the experiment to confirm the result. Got 50% chance of getting it right.
It’s in the math and also, you can’t get the egg to reject the wrong sperm / or stop the wrong sperm from swimming faster than the rest. -
