Any one knows what happened to our Chief Kiasu? Is he sick? Overseas? Or this site sold off? Around this time each year, he would have updated the balloting analysis after phase 1 and 2A1. Wrote to KSP FB messenger but no reply. (most of us also need his graph thingy so tat we can make decisions :p) But we do hope that he is alright and well.

No need so kanjiong. There's still 2A2 to come.
Based on current stats, I think these schools will definitely be left with 20 seats per phase for Phase 2B / 2C:
1. CHS
2. CHIJ SNGS
3. HPPS
4. NYPS
5. ATS
6. RSS
Two other schools in the watch list and nail-biting for parents who are aiming them will be NHPS and RS.

Can a child be put on a sch waitlist, after the registration exercise, even if he or She didn’t apply or ballot during the registration to that school due to overwhelming numbers?

MK will contribute about 60 students max to each school.
Most of the schools are new and has the capacity to absorb them without going over the limit in 2A2*. While it may leave 2B and 2C with reduced availability, it should be noted that most of the students in MK are within 1km of the school. Hence, they would have likely contributed to the numbers in 2C even before this new policy was implemented. It would have made very little difference in the grand scheme of things.

* The only exception that I can think of is Westwood Primary in Jurong West, I think parents aiming for this school in 2B / 2C will be in for a big surprise if they have 60 eligible K2 pupils. Definitely one to watch out for in 2A2.

Yes, you can waitlist on any schools of your choice, even if you didn't apply for it.
Typically, it can only be done after the registration exercise has closed (usually after Phase 2C).
However, if there are overwhelming numbers during registration, there will also be an overwhelming waitlist after registration. The likelihood of a successful transfer is going to be very small (especially if the school gives preference to unsuccessful applicants from Phase 2A / 2B/ 2C).

If the child 1 falls out of the 1st choice of school A at phase 2B,

Parent will go for phase 2C for school B ( Hm Distance <1km)

The child 2 only has choice of school at Phase 2C for school B. (Hm Distance <1 km)

Question:
Are both child 1 & child 2 having the same chance to get the choice of school B at phase 2C ? OR child 2 has pirioty to get the school B???
