Hi, is there restriction for a GRL to only apply under phase 2B in the constituency he serves? Or can he apply under phase 2B in any primary School?

Hi.. To apply under phase 2B is only restricted to the GRC which u reside in. Not serves.. and of coz not in any primary sch.. Is only the pri sch in the GRC which u stays in.

MOE usually updates on the late evening of the final day of each phase. Tonite by midnight u should see it.

For phase 2B and 2C, due to the sheer volume of data to be verified, sometimes no update until the next day.

I heard the schools restrict the number PVs so that they do not get disappointed in phase 2B. Why phase 2B will get busier? (I can understand Phase 2C should be a lot). Because the GRCs will be too many? No restrictions? usually how many GRC applications come to the top schools and rest?

MOE has updated the number of applicants for phase 2A2 at the end of this evening.

They will not update the number of vacancies for the phase 2B and 2C until the balloting has been completed (ie 17 July 2018). Because they need to count any twins/multiples who may get balloted in and take up more seats.

At the end of phase 2A2, 11 schools are oversubscribed:

- Red Swastika
- Yu Neng Primary
- Ai Tong
- Radin Mas
- Nanyang
- Pei Hwa
- South View Primary
- Rosyth
- Gongshang Primary
- Junyuan Primary
- Pei Chun

And St Hilda’s gets an “honorable mention” because they escaped balloting by the skin of their teeth: exactly 38 applicants to 38 seats!
