Ok, some caveats from what I mentioned.

Just checked that if the SAP school offers O-levels as well as IP, then yes, your daughter can still enter the SAP school and just take Chinese without taking Higher Chinese.

There are some SAP schools which only takes in IP and in those cases, the students must take Higher Chinese. So if your daughter does not want to take Higher Chinese, then don’t choose those schools but you can still opt for those which allow her to just take Chinese.

Each of those schools have FAQs which do mention this particular point (on what the students must offer in terms of Chinese/ Higher Chinese).

Some SAP schools impose compulsory to take HCL at Sec 1 but allow the students to drop and just take Chinese if they cannot handle it.

Could we share English and Mother Tongue oral topics for Prelims here. Some school already had the oral. I know ACS and SCGS had theirs. Anyone can share the topics tested?

One of the CL video I know of involves the topic of being attentive in lesson + affecting others (cos of disturbance/interruption): fooling around with classmates; phone rang in middle of a class.

Another topic tested was on protecting one’s eyesight - video content + questions include playing of electronic games, studying habits/environment.

Anyone knows if MOE release past years’ PSLE mean score and SD for each subject? Am I right to say those are confidential data which is not released to the public?

I don't think MOE has ever released those numbers; that's why people tend to use the rule of thumb 0.72 to 0.75 calculation or use their schools' results and add/ minus an offset number as an approximation.

Which schools have prelims main paper before PSLE Oral exams (between 30/7 and 15/8)?

There was also another topic on the topic of 'patience' being tested. Video content includes sister losing patience while guiding younger brother in his studies; sister frustrated in her attempt at completing jigsaw puzzle; both mother and brother came to help her (i.e. happy ending).
