The selection process must be over before they can send out the emails…why are they holding names back???

We need to indicate whether going the camp by 25Jul. So I think SST may put some names on waiting list and in case some not going then can release the slots to those on waiting list?

I believe chances of those selected but not going for round 2 are very slim…

Agreed. What a roller coaster ride. They should just be more upfront even with those on wait list, so at least we can moderate our expectations. Being so coy about it just sets the rest up for disappointment.

Yes indeed, the way they do things is so strange. They should just be upfront and said the rest are not selected, rather than give out false hope. Frankly speaking, who will give up the chance to attend the camp at this point in time since no DSA results have been released. Anyway it could be a blessing in disguise as the school highly relies on gadgets in their curriculum. I was pretty worried about that issue as my boy is already currently a game addict. Was worried that being exposed to gadgets the whole day long will make it worse. Now the decision is out of my hands. Haaa…now just have to go all out for PSLE! Good luck to all!

I emailed them with my boy’s details asking if he got selected for round 1 n this is their reply:


All applicants will receive the outcome of their application on 31 Aug and only shortlisted candidates for the selection camp will be contacted during this period of time.

Yes, 31 Aug refers to the outcome of phase 2 / selection camp. I received the same standard reply. They won’t provide checking for individuals. Press on to PSLE.
