Lexy...just wondering how do u post a table on KSP? Is it you have to prepare it in Excel then convert to PDF and upload as image?

I am considering preparing & posting my table of affiliated secondary schools cut-off points.

The fastest way I found is - do it in excel. Select the table, copy the table, paste it in paint. Got a picture right away.

Thanks Lexy for your reply. I managed to do it already.

Phase 2C internet registration starts tomorrow at 9am. For those eligible to register online, good luck and let us know how it goes!

i'm curious how it works. if internet registration starts 2moro, it would have to end one day earlier so that schools can tabulate to give more 'real time' vacancies available.

You are right. Internet registration does end a day earlier than on-site registration.

Just curious - why is there still more than 100 places for RGPS given that it is quite a well known school?

Does this mean asg citizen less than 1km (or even 1-2km) will get a place in 2C?

I think main reason is because it has no affiliation.

Not entirely due to that. Could be because RGPS takes in girls only.

Look at other co-ed schools - Ai Tong, Pei Chun, Henry Park, Pei Hwa Presbyterian, Kong Hwa, Rulang, Hong Wen, Rosyth & Gongshang which have no affiliated secondary schools. They have exactly 20 / 20-odd vacancies left as of today.

OT: Ironically, it's the mission schools with generous affiliation discounts that still have a lot of vacancies left.

Many parents prefer co-ed primary schools, as their younger sons and daughters can benefit later. A lot of hassle for busy people to take leave for this chore.

Hi, fellow parents, may I seek advice on which school to register for 2C (Singapore Citizen) for my child. I'd registered him under Phase 2A1 with a school in Hougang buts its 45min bus ride away. So am looking for a school which is nearer.

                  Within 1km
                  1) PUNGGOL GREEN PRIMARY SCHOOL (high chance of balloting for <1km based on Lexy's latest info https://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=91621)
                  2) PUNGGOL VIEW PRIMARY SCHOOL
                  3) PUNGGOL COVE PRIMARY SCHOOL

                  Within 2km
                  3) EDGEFIELD PRIMARY SCHOOL
                  4) GREENDALE PRIMARY SCHOOL
                  5) OASIS PRIMARY SCHOOL

Within 2km (with high chance of balloting for <1km)
                  6) COMPASSVALE PRIMARY SCHOOL
                  7) RIVERVALE PRIMARY SCHOOL

Hope the gurus here can help with advice on these options:
\t1. Should I even try for COMPASSVALE and RIVERVALE with is Within 2km? are there any new schools built around the area that will cause the no of registrations to decrease?)
\t2. Should I even try registering with EDGEFIELD, GREENDALE, OASIS? or
\t3. Just focus on those within 1km?

Would you advice that I monitor the situation and 1. withdraw from the Phase 2A1 school and then register my child on the last day i.e 2 Aug itself?

I know i'm asking a lot here hope fellow parents here can help.

This is not an advice but just sharing of what I know of Compassvale
One girl of my friend who studied here in p1-p3 eventually got GEP and transferred to Rosyth
One girl of my another friend who studied here in p2 was a TOP 10 winner in the raffles math Olympic test (if I am not wrong about the test)
Not too sure whether it is because of the school..

im curious those who eventually got into GEP another school, would he/she be considered as Alumni for both of the schools then?
