Any parents here done PV before? What kind of duties that will be assigned? The school just posted the latest news on their website that the duties will have to be conducted on site during school hours? What is the chance for working parents?

      Thanks!
Hi...I have done PV before, at another school. It is always during school hours. Working parents gotta take leave or time off from office. Unless (some schools only) you can do traffic warden duty before 7.30am, then rush off to work.

The PV duties I have done before are: accompany the teacher to supervise the children on excursions (nowadays the term is “learning journey”); some art & craft to decorate the school for National Day; extra facilitator in the P1/P2 classroom during art/PE lessons. This type of duties are fantastic for future primary school parents - you get to know the school and the students better. It is very different from preschool.

For Rivervale Pri, I dunno what duties they have.

Means July 19 register? Think PV/Grassroots/Clan route etc way too late already. Unless the school of choice has got some church affiliate, maybe still got chance. Slim...
