      Hi ,

My child is in Queenstown Pri. He enjoys going to school. There are lot of activities organized for kids such as Sports/Swimming Carnival, MTL festival, JA ( Financial literacy), Math , Lit enrichment , bowling enrichment for P4 n 5 etc. Students are encouraged to play with sport equipments during recess.
Principal is hands-on and I am assured that the school is in good hands.

Another thing to add. PSG (Parent Support Group) is very active. Organize lot of activities such as parenting talks and bonding activities. Interviewed by the radio station (can’t recall which one) for their outstanding works. Parents also have many opportunities to volunteer in school.

Thanks for your kind advice. It seems Queestown primary school is gaining popularity this year. Likely fully taken in 2C. I'm watching Zhangde and Queenstown. Tomorrow I'll go to register at school.

I think it's going to be like that from now on for Qtps bcos of the new estates.
5 Hdb from SERS and 3 condos that's either up or on the way up.
Not to mention the other 2 big Hdb flats already there, which were new 3yrs ago.

zhangde has 106 kids vying for 99 seats. queenstown has not exceeded yet...all the best in securing a place for your child 2moro.

I already know 2 who will register at Qtps tmrw, within 1km. It’s going to be real tight!

When I was there this morning at 8am, there were 29. At 4.45pm I rang, admin mentioned there was 6. And true enough…

Thanks! I think if Zhangde doesn't need to ballot for SC <2KM, then I may go for Zhangde. Else hopefully no ballot for Queestown SC <2km.

If we ask, do they reveal how many within 1km and 2km?

Since you're going tomorrow, suggest go in the afternoon. The problem with both ZD and Qtps, the schools won't tell us the Distance at what take up rate. Nerve wrecking, waiting to see Moe site on Friday, what Distance needs balloting.
