Hi, am thinking if to enrol my child to queenstown pri school (QT PS) next year. Can anyone share with me overall experience and feedback of your children at QT PS? Also, how are their principal, teachers?
And if the in-house student care centre after school is good? Or any other student care centre to recommend? Thanks!! -

We are very glad that our DD is in QtPS. Always happy to go school. The teachers are very dedicated to teach & guide the children. The PSG ( Parents Support Group) is very active and always plan out programs for kids and parents. U can check out their PSG website for more details. They even have a Dads-only group within PSG to encourage dads to bond with their children.Hi, am thinking if to enrol my child to queenstown pri school (QT PS) next year. IMHO, the best initiative is to have CCA trial for all P2 students to try out all the CCAs available in QtPS.
It was so fun to try out each CCA every week & allows the students to decide which CCA they prefer the most. -
Dear parents,
I’ve recently moved to Queenstown and in preparation for P1 registration, I would like to ask for feedback about Queenstown Pri in general.
What are the things you like about the school?
What is the school culture?
Does your child have a good balance of academic and non academic development?
Are there any areas that you would like to see an improvement?
Would appreciate if you could share your views. Thanks. -
:imsorry: I posted the same comment twice and not sure how to delete.

Queenstown Primary is oversubcribed for 2C. I doubt Queenstown Primary will have place for 2CS.
Any parent in this forum share about QTPS in term of teachers as well as the CCA. Thank you. -

Best to go down to ask admin nicely. As of 2.15pm, Admin said SC still has chance to apply - come down now. They are processing the application from 2.30pm onwards.Queenstown Primary is oversubcribed for 2C. I doubt Queenstown Primary will have place for 2CS.

Summary but not exhaustive:
1. QTPS has well-run programs to help students of all academic abilities.
2. Every P2 student will go for CCA trials try out each CCA available.
3. Established PSG (Parents Support Group) - can check out their FB.
4. Teachers are REALLY dedicated to help the students from all backgrounds (regardless of financial status) - Mrs Bay (HOD of P1) is an excellent example.
5. Usually QTPS is highly sought after by PRs (I heard from my PR friends)
Good luck to all

ronaldlhs, best wishes to your application.
This year has more applications than vacancies. 172 for 143 vacancies. Not sure on the stats breakdown though. -
Hi, me and 2 other mummies got in for our kids in under 1km. And we’re hoping to connect on WhatsApp with any other mummies here. Thanks.
